Wamiq Hamid, PE

Wamiq Hamid has over 20 years of experience and is a Vice President and Partner at DMY. Wamiq leads the construction services division and is responsible for managing all activities involving construction management, quality control/quality assurance activities and laboratory operations. He has extensive experience in field inspection and testing of deep foundations, bridge construction, MSE walls, and pavements. Mr. Hamid has been involved in several design-build transportation projects in DC Metro area as Quality Assurance, Quality Control, and Special Inspections Manager. He is currently overseeing the QA work at the Frederick Douglass Bridge replacement project in the District of Columbia. His past experience providing IBC special inspections is significant and has spanned some of the most significant projects in the area, including the Prince William Parkway improvements, VDOT Route 7 bridge deck replacement and widening over the Dulles Toll Road, I-64, Segment II widening, George Mason University Campus Drive, I-66 Active Traffic Management Project, and the DDOT DC Streetcar project along H Street and Benning Road.
