Wayne Ma, PE

Wayne Ma is the President and CEO of DMY. He has 18 years of experience as a geotechnical engineer and entrepreneur. Wayne founded DMY in 2009, during the depths of the Great Recession, and over the subsequent years, has built DMY into a leading geotechnical and construction services firm in the Washington metropolitan region. Starting with the idea that there was a market opportunity for a nimble, flexible and reliable minority-owned geotechnical firm, Wayne took the company from a simple materials laboratory in his garage to a company with over 60 employees and three offices in two states, in just the span of 11 years. Wayne is also an accomplished geotechnical engineer and has successfully completed over 300 projects in the educational, residential, commercial, and industrial space.
